Winsley White Building Contractors and Developers Limited is an award winning family run business, based in Somerset. The company specializes in housing development and in particular the provision of affordable homes in partnership with Housing Associations. The company builds homes with a strong focus on the future, however the occupants circumstances change.

Winsley White builds Sustainable Homes which meet Secured By Design and Lifetime Homes standards

Sustainability means meeting the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs, by providing ways of building that use less virgin material, less energy and causes less pollution & less waste.

Secured by Design is the UK police flagship initiative supporting the principles of "designing out crime" by the use of effective crime prevention & security standards.

Lifetime Homes are homes for everyone which brings benefits to anyone who lives in them. They are designed to make life as easy as possible, for as long as possible because they are thoughtfully designed.

Winsley Whites' main focus has been providing low cost homes in areas where there is a genuine need. In partnership with Housing Association's Winsley White have completed  many developments, on time and within budget, that vary in size from 4 to 40 houses, some of these being recognized at the highest level with design awards in successive years.
